"In Heaven" is a project I created, back in early 2003 in order to release a demo with a band we were jamming and played live together. Unfortunately I faced many difficulties with the band members, so I decided to break it up. After a long search I found new band members to bring this band back to life. On the vocals I kept our original singer, Elvira Mitraka, on the bass lines I got Babis Anogeianakis, Antonis Ryakiotakis on the keyboards and Spyros Thanasoulas on the drums!
 We've recorded our first demo called "…With You" at "Non-Smoking" studios at Heraklion, Crete (November 2003) with the precious aid of our very close friend Mihalis Rinakakis (Event Horizon X). This is a two-track work that we are all very proud of, but we can’t say the same for the audio quality!
In the middle of 2004 we almost broke the band up again, so we've decided to move on with Elvira and Babis as a "trio"...
Important decisions were taken so this is the time that the idea of our "darchangel" shows up! (darchangel = dark angel/archangel). Eleven tracks composed by the band were about to be recorded into the "Dark Room" studio that we've set up in our base at Heraklion. Moving on all alone was pretty difficult but many believers showed up! Mihalis Rinakakis did all the mixing and mastering, Sakis re-mastered our work and all artwork is made by Elias Kontogiannis.
We were looking for a record company and that’s the point that Mihalis and Giannis from Burning Star Records showed up! They believed in us and as you image, everything went the right way so now our first official release is in your hands!
Our music is based on atmospheric metal with heavy guitars and keyboards. The addition of female vocals and the dark lyrics make (we believe so at least) our music so difficult to categorize with one or two words, but I think that "Atmospheric Gothic Metal" is the best way to call our music!
We believe that we've done the right thing to go on with our first full-length album and we want to believe that you think exactly the same! Let's just see what the future has to show for us!
