POTERGEIST is a five piece band compiled by ALEX S (vocals), JIM DRAGON (Guitars), NICK CHRISTOLIS (Guitars), BILL ETERNAL (drums) and JOHN PASAKLIDES (bass). The band formed late 2004 and first appeared on stage of Summer Of Rock Festival along with bands such as NIGHTSTALKER, ENGINE V, THE EARTHBOUND and many more.

In 2005 POTERGEIST influenced by the music of DOWN, COC, CROWBAR, PANTERA and the South Rock Scene starts recording its first album. The outcome is a Southern metal mix that makes a name for the band till this day. The band performs in most of Athenian clubs such as An Club, Mo Better, The Underworld, Rodeo Club just to mention a few. Those who have seen the band on stage knows its abilities.

In 2006 the album ‘Southwards” is completed. The band also records a video for the song “Beggar” that is constantly broadcasted through the Greek music Channel MAD TV and its metal related show TV WAR (the band is also featured with an interview in the same show). “Beggar” is also the song chosen by Lights Parade Records for the compilation “Stone Planet” (alongside bands such as HERMANO, ABDULAH and many more).

2007 starts the best way possible for the band. They are featured with a long interview in the magazine FREE (one of Greece ’s biggest magazines for youth) alongside a special photo shoot. In addition the band signs a worldwide deal with BURNING STAR RECORDS. The best is yet to come.
