On March 10, hip-hop artist Lil Pump announced that the multi-platinum artist has partnered with the non-fungible token (NFT) platform Sweet. The American rapper will deposit a total of three unique NFT collectibles and he will also release a unique collection of âNFT collectible digital jewelryâ.
Lil Pump Launches Non-Fungible Token Assets Via Sweet
Multi-platinum hip-hop recording artist Gazzy Garcia, known professionally as Lil Pump, got into the non-fungible asset (NFT) game by partnering with the Sweet Company. Lil Pump was recognized by the general public in 2017 with the hit single “Gucci Gang” and the single was certified five times platinum by the RIAA.
Since then he has released albums like the eponymous “Lil Pump” and the record “Haverd Dropout”. Lil Pump explained on Wednesday that he has collaborated with Sweet, a scalable NFT platform dedicated to top music, entertainment and consumer brands.
According to the recent announcement, the hip-hop artist offers three unique NFT collectibles and one of the tokens is considered a one-of-a-kind digital jewelry concept.
“The 3-Piece Collection includes a 500-piece fan gift, an affordable and exclusive collector’s card with a limited 2,000-piece inventory, and the ultra-rare” Esskeetit Diamond VVS “NFT cornerstone for the true connoisseur,” details the ad.
Two of the NFT Lil Pump were released on Wednesday, and fans of the artist can get the âEsskeetit Cardâ and âLil Pump Artist Card V1â through the Sweet platform. The rare NFT asset “Esskeetit Diamond VVS” aims to replicate the look of one of the American rapper’s multi-million dollar jewelry collections.
The announcement further states that Lil Pump has hit five NFT âEsskeetit Diamond VVSâ in total. Each NFT digital gem can be purchased with bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH), bitcoin cash (BCH) or even a credit card.
Digital Jewelry NFTs will be securely available on a âfirst come, first servedâ basis, according to the Sweet and Lil Pump collaboration announcement. ” It’s the future. Now you can live like me and own a rare NFT collectible from one of my favorite channels, âLil Pump commented.
Lil Pump plans to release multiple NFT drops
Tom Mizzone, CEO of Sweet, explained that the growing interest in the NFT space proves Lil Pump’s point of view that this is the future. âThe future of rare and collectable goods is in the digital arena, as evidenced by the growing interest in NFTs,â noted Mizzone.
Mizzone pointed out that the team are excited to be working with the recording artist and that Lil Pump has plans to remove other NFTs.
âWe are thrilled to be the ones who offer Lil Pump fans and global collectors a new way to own exclusive digital products,â added Mizzone. “This is the first of several drops we’re going to do with Pump.”
Over the past few months, many celebrities and musicians have entered the NFT space, including actress Lindsay Lohan, 76ers owner Michael Rubin, Justin Roiland, “Rick and Morty” co-creator, Youtuber Logan. Paul, Swish DJ Alesso and Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park.
Even the world famous gamer and Youtuber, Pewdiepie has been involved in the NFT space with skins in the 3D augmented reality video game Wallem.
